Metal Bridge Grating Offers Many Options for Special Applications

Bridge deck gratings are often heady duty metal gratings. They can stand up with loads from heavy traffic such as automobiles, trucks and other vehicles. Steel and aluminum are two economical materials to manufacture deck gratings. Steel gratings are often galvanized or PVC coated to face corrosions.

Metal open grating permits passage of rains and snows that a solid surface will not allow. In addition, deck grating can be reused in other applications such as driveways across culverts, plant loading areas and trench covers.

Fabrication options:
Welded grating and riveted grating are available for manufacturing deck gratings. Riveted gratings are different from rectangular bar grating. They are proven to hold more loads than other fabrications.
